About LA Creole
The Louisiana Creole Research Association, Inc., known as LA Creole, was founded on August 21, 2004 as a New Orleans-based, non-profit genealogy and family research organization. Its purpose is to assist Creoles of Color in researching their ancestry, to educate the general public about Creole culture, and to celebrate the contributions and legacy of a unique, sometimes forgotten people.

"To serve as a medium to aid the members of Louisiana Creole Research Association and other interested parties in the study of the history and culture of the Creole People of Louisiana through ancestral research, education, and celebration."
